About the Institute

 

Maharishi Kashyap Government Polytechnic, Jattal was established in 2017 by the Government of Haryana to strengthen technical education and skill development in Panipat and the surrounding region. The institute is affiliated with the Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The institute offers seven Diploma courses namely Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Technology, Environmental Engineering and Apparel Design & Fashion Technology with an approved intake of 60 students in each course. The institute has a team of experienced and qualified faculty members and places strong emphasis on industry-aligned, skill-based technical education.

Located in Panipat city, the institute has easy accessibility from the Panipat bus stand and enjoys excellent connectivity to Delhi and nearby industrial hubs in the National Capital Region (NCR). The campus is spacious and green, featuring well-ventilated classrooms, modern laboratories, a well-furnished library, and an e-Library that provides access to e-books, e-journals, magazines, and other digital learning resources. A Vita Booth is also available on campus, offering canteen facilities for students and staff.

The institute benefits from its close proximity to globally recognized chemical and textile industrial hubs, which provide ample training and employment opportunities for students.
